Hybrid: Ways To Make It Better

May 17, 2022

I want to try something a little bit different with today’s newsletter. Instead of just sending you a video and a few bullet points for you to sit back and watch and passively take in, I want to open a dialogue.

To be completely transparent, I’m figuring all of this out right along with you, and part of me doing that is getting your thoughts, observations, learnings, etc. So I want to hear back from you. I want to know everything you’re thinking when you watch this video. Am I wrong about something? Did I miss something? Did this video spark something in you, whether an idea, an emotion, or a train of thought? Is there another way you’ve found to work with hybrid sessions?

What I’m hoping will come out of this is 3 things:

  1. You’ll get new ideas for ways to make a hybrid session better
  2. I’ll get even more ideas from you to share with you
  3. We’ll be able to combine some of these ideas (and challenges) into a giant, mega, Godzilla-sized list of ways to make a hybrid session successful.

So check out the 2 videos I’m including here, and let me know what you think. Reply to me here, leave a comment on YouTube, send an email to hello@weand.me, or slide into my DMs 🤣. Whatever works best for you. I want to hear from as many of you as want to engage with me.

PS – The two videos above are just some unscripted learnings that I thought you might enjoy. I know they are not a complete manifesto. Below are some additional thoughts in case you really want to immerse yourself in the hybrid world today.
