In today’s video, I’m going to give you 3 fun ways to start a meeting, whether you’re meeting everyone for the first time, or you’re old friends. All of these ideas use my new We! Connect Sticker Nametags, but you can certainly use your own DIY system for these as well. Let’s get into it…
3 Fun Ways To Start a Meeting
- Fill out your own We! Connect Sticker Nametag. That alone is more than happens at a lot of meetings, and it will immediately create a connection between your participants. Because as soon as someone glances at anyone else in the room, they’ll instantly know something that person is struggling with, something they want to know more about, or a problem they need to solve.
- Pair up 2 of your participants, have them each pick a nametag they’d like to use, then invite them to sit for 5 minutes and chat, getting to know each other, using the nametag subject as a prompt. Then, when they’re finished, have them fill out each other’s nametag.
- Idea number 3 is specifically for virtual meetings. Choose one of the nametags, hold it up to the camera, and invite your participants to type their answers into the chat window. This is a great way to set the tone for the meeting to be one of contribution, not just consumption.
